Race Info

ROAG Administration
The Illovo Eston MTB Challenge is administered by ROAG. All entrants will need to register on ROAG in order to obtain a ROAG number which will be a riders race number.
ROAG will issue all riders with a ROAG number board and Mr Price timing chip.

Timing
The 60, 40 and 18km events will be timed using the Mr. Price IT timing system. All riders in these 3 races will be provided with timing chips by ROAG. It is each riders responsibility to ensure that the chip is linked to the correct rider and their information. You can swipe the chips at registration to check info. The chips must be attached to the LEFT ANKLE. NO CHIP – NO TIME!!

Timing Chips

If you have not yet been issued with your FREE Mr Price timing chip, this will be given to you at registration.
If you have lost your ROAG Mr Price chip, you will be required to purchase a replacement chip at a cost of R50.00.
Timing chips must be attached to the LEFT ANKLE only.

Seeding

Batching

ALL events will have batched starts. This means a limited number of riders will start at a time. This will ease congestion in parking, at registration and on the course. Batches will be set up according to the seeding structure above. ALL LATE ENTRIES WILL BE IN THE LAST BATCHES regardless of ability or whether you are a registered rider or not.
Batches will be posted on the website and riders will be notified by SMS. PLEASE find out what batch you are in and OBEY THE MARSHALLS.
